Oxford Solutions has an opening with our client for an Electrical Engineer. 

The Electrical Engineer will perform electrical system design, calculations, and problem-solving for a range of industrial, commercial, and infrastructure projects. This role includes both technical design work and project leadership responsibilities. Applicants with 5 to 15+ years of experience are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

  • Develop detailed electrical system designs, including power distribution, lighting, grounding, and control systems.
  • Perform engineering calculations such as load flow, short-circuit, voltage drop, and protective device coordination.
  • Prepare and review design drawings and technical specifications using CAD software.
  • Lead project teams, manage project schedules, and ensure deliverables meet client expectations.
  • Conduct site visits, inspections, and project coordination meetings.
  • Provide technical support during the construction phase, including submittal review and field problem resolution.
  • Mentor and supervise junior engineers and designers.
  • Ensure designs comply with industry standards, codes, and project specifications.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • 5 to 15+ years of relevant electrical engineering experience.
  • Proficiency with PC-based design software and CAD tools (AutoCAD, Revit, or similar).
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
