    Electrical Engineer
    Type:
    FTE | Starts 1099, switch to W2 in Q4
    Location:
    Onsite in Cleveland, Ohio (Ohio City)
    Eligibility:
    US Permanent Residency is required for this position. No C2C Partnerships.

    Description:

    Wright Technical Services is proud to represent this cutting-edge new company based in Cleveland. The Electrical Engineer participates in supporting the design development, and integration of electronic systems for our products. The role will focus on building reliable, scalable electrical components and controls that enable deployment of systems.

     

    Requirements:

    • Relevant Electrical Engineering Degree highly preferred
    • 10+ years of experience as Electrical Engineer
    • Strong experience with PCB design and layout
    • Hands-on experience supporting manufacturing, assembly, testing, and troubleshooting on circuit boards
    • Experience with PCB CAD tools, including open-source platforms such as KiCAD
    • Comfortable with common electrical test and measurement equipment (oscilloscopes, power supplies, power meters)
    • Familiarity with embedded firmware development (C, C++) and/or microcontroller programming
    • Proven track record in working with multi-disciplined, highly skilled technical teams
    • Accustomed to working in a production facility environment inclusive of loud noises, standing for long periods of time with the ability to lift or move light to medium weight equipment and products.

     

    Key Duties:

    • Design, develop and test electrical systems and components for SFT products
    • Collaborate with Mechanical and Software teams to ensure seamless system integration and Project Managers for proper allocation and tracking of resources
    • Analyzing and testing prototypes and each revision of a device
    • Assisting with preparing documentation of critical analysis and providing feedback
    • Ensure product quality by implementing inspection processes, troubleshooting issues, and coordinating closely with engineers and technicians
