About the Role:

As an Electrical Engineer specializing in the construction industry, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and overseeing electrical systems that ensure safe, reliable, and efficient power distribution and generation. Your expertise will contribute to the planning and implementation of high voltage electrical infrastructure projects, including protective relay coordination and power system analysis. Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field.
• Proven experience working with protective relays and power system design in a construction or industrial environment.
• Strong understanding of power generation, distribution, and high voltage electrical systems.
• Familiarity with electrical codes, standards, and safety regulations relevant to construction projects.
• Proficiency in electrical engineering software tools used for system analysis and design.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification.
• Experience with SCADA systems and automation in power distribution.
• Advanced knowledge of renewable energy integration within power systems.
• Project management experience in large-scale electrical construction projects.
• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related specialization.

Responsibilities:

• Design, analyze, and implement electrical power systems for construction projects, including power generation, distribution, and high voltage systems.
• Develop and coordinate protective relay schemes to safeguard electrical equipment and ensure system reliability.
• Perform power system studies such as load flow, short circuit, and coordination studies to optimize system performance.
• Collaborate with project managers, civil engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate electrical designs into overall project plans.
• Conduct site inspections and testing to verify compliance with design specifications and safety standards.
• Prepare detailed technical documentation, reports, and specifications for electrical systems and components.
• Provide technical support during construction, commissioning, and maintenance phases to resolve electrical issues promptly.
