Job Summary
A growing organization in the aerospace and defense industry is seeking an Electrical Engineer for a direct hire opportunity in Huntington Beach, CA. This role is ideal for a hands-on hardware engineer with experience designing, prototyping, validating, and supporting multi-layer PCB assemblies and integrated electrical systems.
The Electrical Engineer will work on advanced industrial hardware, including precision optical inspection devices and aerospace-grade component processing systems. This is a strong opportunity for someone who enjoys bridging PCB design, signal processing, lab validation, and cross-functional system integration.
Candidates can expect a collaborative engineering environment with exposure to firmware, mechanical, optical, and manufacturing teams. The role offers meaningful technical ownership, supportive leadership, and the opportunity to contribute to complex products where quality, reliability, and precision matter.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and support multi-layer PCB assemblies, including power delivery, signal routing, ruggedized connectors, and electrical interfaces.
- Perform schematic capture and PCB layout using controlled impedance routing and signal integrity best practices.
- Lead board bring-up, electrical validation, troubleshooting, and hands-on lab debugging for prototype and production hardware.
- Support signal and power integrity analysis to ensure reliable system performance across operating conditions.
- Contribute to end-of-line test infrastructure, including test fixtures, firmware flashing workflows, and production validation sequences.
- Create and maintain electrical documentation, including schematics, BOMs, assembly drawings, test procedures, and calibration documentation.
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary: $140,000 to $145,000 per year.
- Job type: Direct hire.
