    Description

    The Electrical Engineer is responsible for the design, reliability, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the facility's electrical systems and infrastructure. This role provides technical leadership for power distribution, automation, controls, and equipment reliability while supporting safe and efficient manufacturing operations.

    Responsibilities include:


    • Manage electrical projects, including power upgrades, outages, utility coordination, budgeting, scheduling, and implementation.
    • Ensure compliance with electrical codes, safety standards, permitting requirements, and industry regulations.
    • Troubleshoot and optimize electrical systems, drives, PLCs, HMIs, automation equipment, and control systems.
    • Maintain electrical documentation, including schematics, drawings, programs, and technical records.
    • Analyze system performance data to identify improvements in safety, reliability, efficiency, and cost savings.
    • Support installation, commissioning, and integration of new equipment and technologies.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor?s degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, or related field.
    • Minimum 7 years of industrial electrical engineering experience, preferably in manufacturing.
    • Experience with PLC programming, automation systems, power distribution, VFDs, motors, and controls.
    • Knowledge of NEC/NFPA standards, electrical safety, and reliability practices.
    • Lean/Six Sigma, automation certifications, and PE license preferred but not required.
    • CPR certification required only if participating on the Safety Team.
