Our client, an established manufacturer of industrial power equipment, is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join its engineering team in Oklahoma City. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career engineer who wants to gain hands-on experience with electrical power systems, industrial equipment, and controls while working alongside experienced engineering professionals.

You will support the design, development, testing, and implementation of electrical systems used in industrial power equipment, engine-driven machinery, and AC/DC drive and control applications.

What You Will Do

• Assist in the design, development, testing, and troubleshooting of electrical systems and equipment.
• Work with low- and medium-voltage power equipment, engine-driven rotating machinery, and AC/DC drive and control systems.
• Create, review, and modify electrical drawings, schematics, technical specifications, and bills of materials (BOMs).
• Use CAD and electrical drafting software to support equipment and system designs.
• Collaborate with senior engineers, designers, and manufacturing teams to develop practical, reliable electrical solutions.
• Support production assembly and testing teams by troubleshooting issues and helping resolve technical challenges.
• Research electrical components and systems, including identifying replacements for obsolete parts.
• Participate in engineering design reviews and assist with product improvements.
• Support equipment installation, testing, maintenance, and field modifications.
• Apply electrical engineering principles, industry standards, and applicable electrical codes, including the National Electrical Code (NEC).
• Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and internal teams to support engineering projects.

What We Are Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology (BSEE/EET) with 0–2 years of relevant electrical engineering experience; an ABET-accredited master's degree or an Associate of Science in Electrical Engineering with 5 years of relevant experience may also qualify.
• Understanding of electrical circuits, power systems, and electrical engineering fundamentals.
• Familiarity with electrical schematics, technical drawings, and CAD software.
• Ability to perform basic electrical calculations, including circuit analysis and voltage drop calculations.
• Interest in or exposure to industrial electrical equipment, motor controls, AC/DC drives, or power distribution systems.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively with engineering, manufacturing, and production teams.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Willingness to learn from experienced engineers and develop additional technical expertise.
• Valid driver's license and passport required.
