Electrical Engineer

Job Summary: Ensures all technical issues and problems are resolved in a timely, efficient, and cost-effective manner using available resources.

Responsibilities:

• Lead, supervise, and coordinate teams in implementing new technical strategies, equipment, and standards.

• Conduct risk assessments and apply mitigation strategies to ensure safety and reliability in engineering projects.

• Provide technical expertise and guidance for identifying, analyzing, and resolving high-impact or cross-functional engineering problems.

• Maintain and control engineering design basis and documentation to ensure compliance and accuracy.

• Plan, coordinate, and execute complex engineering studies and projects with full technical responsibility.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in using electrical diagnostic tools such as multimeters and oscilloscopes.

• Basic networking knowledge and troubleshooting skills.

• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams accurately.

• Experience in control panel layout and component mounting (e.g., DIN rail, terminal blocks, relays).

• Skilled in wire stripping, crimping, and organizing wiring neatly within enclosures.

• Ability to use hand and power tools safely and efficiently.

• Experience with instrumentation and data logging equipment.

• Proficiency in automation software (e.g., LabVIEW, Ovation).

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM field is required.

• Experience with energy storage systems, generators, or microgrids is a plus.

• Professional Electrical Engineer license (California) preferred but not mandatory.
