Judit Inc. is hiring on behalf of one of our clients - a global aerospace and defense company that designs and builds advanced military systems and technologies. This is a temporary, contract position: you''ll be employed by Judit Inc. and work directly alongside our client''s team.

What you''ll do
You''ll design electrical and electronic assemblies for advanced defense systems and carry them through analysis, integration, and test. Working on cross-functional design teams, you''ll help shape new concepts, build and prove out prototypes, support production, and document the work for customers and proposals.
- Perform detailed design of electrical and electronic assemblies, plus analysis, integration, and testing
- Contribute to concept development on internal cross-functional design teams, including prototyping and production support
- Prepare formal engineering documentation: drawings, presentations, specifications, customer design presentations, test plans, and test reports
- Support proposal work with input to cost estimates and risk assessments
What you''ll bring
- Master''s or bachelor''s degree in electrical or computer engineering
- Minimum 2 years of industry experience
- Knowledge of and experience with computer-aided design tools (required): LabVIEW, MATLAB, Zuken, Mentor Graphics, Altium
- Experience with radio communication systems, antenna specification, and electromagnetic interference (EMI) mitigation
- Programming for small embedded processors, and control systems including PID control loops
- Experience with power electronic circuit design, MOSFETs, schematic capture, board layout techniques, and circuit board manufacturing
- Drive circuit development for brushless DC motors, and single-ended and balanced serial data communication
- Experience operating test equipment such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and signal generators
- Experience with cable design, including insulation and jacket materials and installation requirements for aircraft applications
- Eligibility to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance
- Comfort learning and using AI-enabled tools responsibly, including checking AI-generated output with sound judgment - prior experience with specific tools isn''t required
