    Job Title and Overview

    • Job Title: Electrical Engineer - MEP Industry
    • Overview: Design power distribution, lighting, and fire alarm systems for commercial, institutional, and industrial building projects within a multi-discipline team.


    Key Responsibilities

    • System Design: Prepare electrical layouts, schematics, and construction documents for power, lighting, and grounding.
    • Calculations & Analysis: Perform electrical load calculations, voltage drop analysis, and coordination studies.
    • Coordination: Work with mechanical, plumbing, and architectural teams using Revit and AutoCAD to resolve clash detection.
    • Compliance & Permitting: Apply local electrical codes and prepare permit submittals and technical specifications.
    • Site Support: Conduct field inspections and coordinate with contractors during construction administration.

    Qualifications & Requirements

    • Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering.
    • Experience: 3 to 6+ years of relevant MEP building systems design experience.
    • Software: Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and electrical analysis tools (like SKM or EasyPower).
    • Licenses: EIT certification or active Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
