PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Have a positive attitude and committed to continuous improvement and success of the organization
- Communicate effectively with manager & other maintenance associates on tasks performed
- Interact with engineers, production, and others to discuss existing or potential engineering projects and products.
- Program PLCs and computers to make equipment safer, faster or more efficient.
- Design, implement, maintain, and improve electrical panels, equipment, and systems.
- Direct and coordinate manufacturing, construction, installation, maintenance, support, documentation, and testing activities.
- Inspect completed installations and observe operations, to ensure conformance to design and equipment specifications and compliance with operational and safety standards.
- Research new engineering projects for payback and feasibility.
- Create bills of material for projects.
- Train maintenance technicians and department heads as necessary.
- Use Auto Cad to create electrical and mechanical drawings.
- Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
- Contributes to team effort by achieving results
