Electrical Engineer Student Intern

What You'll Gain:

Hands-on experience with real-world electrical engineering projects Exposure to the full project lifecycle, from initial planning and design through construction and project closeout. Goals & Responsibilities This position includes, but is not limited to, the following duties and responsibilities:

Assist with electrical design and drafting for diverse project types including:

Sizing of electrical services, transformers, switchboards, and distribution systems Perform load calculations and equipment sizing Coordinate utility service requirements Design standby and emergency power systems Lighting design including photometrics and lighting control systems Low-voltage and technology system design including access control, video surveillance, intrusion detection and wired/wireless networks

Support the preparation of plans, specifications, and estimates Perform data analysis and calculations under supervision Collaborate with project managers, engineers and architects to deliver solutions Participate in team meetings and client communication as needed Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations Construction Administration and site visits

Qualifications & Skills The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following education, experience, and abilities:

Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field Strong technical aptitude with attention to detail Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit, or similar software a plus Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team setting Eagerness to learn and contribute to a collaborative environment
