    Description

    Albacore Inc. is a Philadelphia-based company building highly-capable, mass-producible drone submarines to defend sovereign waters of America and allied nations. We are backed with more than $10 million from Y Combinator and venture capital investors.
    Our team is hiring electrical engineering interns to join our team for the summer.

    During that time frame, you will help us:
    • Scale vehicle production to double-digits.
    • Conduct international demonstrations to NATO.
    • Blow up a ship (legally).

    Desired qualifications:
    • Working towards a B.S., M.S., or M.S.E. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or relevant technical field.
    • Ability to learn quickly and troubleshoot technical problems.
    • Experience working with electrical tools: oscilloscope, logic analyzer, electronic load, etc.
    • Detail-oriented personality with solid documentation and reporting skills.
    • Exposure to high speed digital, analog, or power electronics design.
    • Experience in design, implementation, bring up, and debugging of electronic systems.
    • Familiarity with integrating processors, sensors, interfaces, and other electrical components.
    • Knowledge of electrical CAD software (Altium preferred).
    • Strong first-principles engineering mindset and practical design approach.
    • U.S. work authorization and ability to obtain a security clearance.
