Electrical Maintenance Technician - Cleveland, OH - JOB 26-00559

Pay Range: $25.00 - $38.00/HR Full-Time Permanent Position with Benefits
1st or 2nd Shift
 
A manufacturing company on the west side of Cleveland, Ohio to hire a skilled 1st or 2nd Shift Maintenance Repair Technician. This is a critical role responsible for the upkeep, diagnosis, and repair of capital equipment and facility systems.
 
Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose, maintain, and repair mechanical issues in capital manufacturing equipment and facility systems.
  • Dismantle defective machinery and install new or repaired parts using blueprints, precision measuring instruments, and hand tools.
  • Identify and resolve failures in heavy presses, conveyor systems, plumbing, and industrial vehicles (excluding major engine overhauls).
  • Client out and assemble new machinery and equipment according to engineering specifications.
  • Ensure all facility assets remain operational to minimize production downtime.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • High School Diploma, GED, or Vocational/Technical degree.
  • Proven maintenance experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Hands-on experience with Hydraulic, Electrical, and Pneumatic systems.
  • Specific experience maintaining conveyor systems.
  • Ability to accurately read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Knowledge and experience with welding and fabrication.
  • Strong understanding of OSHA Basic safety requirements.
  • Strict adherence to Lock-out/Tag-out (LOTO) procedures.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to work effectively with minimal supervision.
