Electrical Project Engineer

Pay Range: $120 - $140/annum.  Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Responsibilities:

• Electrical Engineering: Manage power distribution systems, substations, transformers, switchgear, MCCs, motors, and VFDs.
• Instrumentation & Controls: Coordinate industrial instruments, PLCs, control panels, sensors, and control systems.
• Project Leadership: Lead EPC contractors, engineering consultants, vendors, and construction teams.
• Design Review: Review electrical drawings, calculations, specifications, P&IDs, and technical documents.
• Construction & Commissioning: Support equipment testing, electrical energization, loop checks, commissioning, and startup.
• Safety & Compliance: Ensure compliance with NEC, NFPA, IEEE, OSHA, and other industrial safety standards.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

• Key Skills; 7+ years of electrical and instrumentation engineering experience in industrial or process industries.
• Experience leading projects and managing EPC contractors.
• Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems, including 480V power distribution and medium-voltage equipment.
• Working knowledge of instrumentation, PLCs, and industrial control systems.
• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
• 7+ years of electrical and instrumentation engineering experience in industrial or process industries.
• Experience leading projects and managing EPC contractors.
• Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems, including 480V power distribution and medium-voltage equipment.
• Working knowledge of instrumentation, PLCs, and industrial control systems.
• Experience with project execution, construction, commissioning, and startup.
