Hill is looking for a hands-on electrical leader with deep experience delivering complex aviation construction projects. This is an opportunity to support a growing aviation practice in the Western United States, providing electrical oversight on terminals, concourses, airfield facilities, hangars, control towers, baggage handling systems, and supporting infrastructure. The ideal candidate brings a strong field background, a working knowledge of airport operational environments, and the ability to coordinate effectively with owners, design teams, contractors, and airport operations staff in both new construction and live, fully operational airside and landside conditions.

Manage electrical scopes on aviation projects from preconstruction through closeout, including new ground-up terminals, concourse expansions, airfield electrical work, hangars, and renovations within active airport facilities
Coordinate Architects, Engineers, electrical trade contractors, commissioning agents, and airport facility staff to ensure designs meet aviation operational, security, and life-safety requirements
Review electrical drawings, specifications, RFIs, submittals, and schedules to evaluate completeness for the respective phase of design and/or construction
Identify schematic and constructability issues across electrical and low-voltage systems and provide solutions through print and schematic review, equipment layout interpretation, and coordination with cross-functional teams
Maintain project budget, manage contractor schedules, and report on decisions regarding design, specifications, costs, schedule, scope changes, and risk
Develop and manage project schedules using Primavera or comparable scheduling tools, identify the critical path, and manage project dependencies and milestones
Oversee work in active aviation environments, including phased shutdowns, additions and replacements to electrical infrastructure in live conditions, and upgrades that protect continuity of airport operations
Coordinate with airport authorities and tenants on access control, badging, escort requirements, and work restrictions for airside and secured areas
Communicate project expectations clearly to team members, clients, and stakeholders; deliver progress reports, proposals, and presentations on a consistent and timely basis
