Job Type: Full-Time

Lead Projects. Build Relationships. Drive Success.

Norlee Group is a growing multi-trade contractor delivering electrical, mechanical, and technology solutions across commercial, industrial, healthcare, and specialty markets. As we continue to expand, we're looking for an experienced Electrical Project Manager to oversee commercial and industrial electrical construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.

This is an excellent opportunity for a driven construction professional who enjoys leading projects, building strong client relationships, mentoring project teams, and making a direct impact on the success of a growing organization.

What You'll Do

  • Manage commercial and industrial electrical construction projects from estimating and planning through final closeout.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, forecasts, and execution plans to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Lead project kickoff meetings, progress meetings, and ongoing client communications throughout each phase of the project.
  • Monitor project profitability, cash flow, billings, cost performance, and financial forecasts.
  • Partner closely with Superintendents, field leadership, engineering, purchasing, and subcontractors to keep projects on schedule and within budget.
  • Negotiate contracts, change orders, and scope modifications while protecting project profitability.
  • Conduct regular jobsite visits to monitor progress, quality, safety, and overall project performance.
  • Ensure compliance with project specifications, building codes, company standards, OSHA regulations, and quality expectations.
  • Oversee project documentation including RFIs, submittals, contracts, change orders, and closeout documentation.
  • Identify project risks early and develop solutions before they impact schedule, budget, or client satisfaction.
  • Build strong relationships with clients, architects, engineers, vendors, and trade partners while delivering an exceptional customer experience.

What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years of Project Management experience within the commercial or industrial electrical construction industry.
  • Experience managing projects from estimating and preconstruction through project closeout.
  • Strong understanding of electrical construction methods, drawings, specifications, contracts, and project documentation.
  • Proven ability to manage project budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and client relationships simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects while balancing competing priorities.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel between local project sites.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent industry experience).
  • Strong financial acumen with budgeting, forecasting, and project cost control.
  • Experience with Commercial, Healthcare, Industrial, Hospitality, Multi-Family, or Specialty Construction projects.
