This is a permanent position that offers a unique opportunity to manage and oversee all aspects of electrical projects, including schools and civic work. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in estimating, electrical safety, team leadership, budgeting, risk management, and using project management software such as Procore and Blue Beam.
Responsibilities:
1. Managing all aspects of electrical projects from conception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of safety and quality.
2. Leading teams of electricians and other construction professionals, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
3. Preparing and presenting detailed project estimates and budgets, ensuring all costs are accurately accounted for.
4. Implementing risk management strategies to minimize potential project delays and cost overruns.
5. Overseeing electrical work in various settings, including schools and civic buildings, ensuring all work is compliant with local and national electrical codes.
6. Utilizing project management software such as Procore and Blue Beam to track project progress and manage resources effectively.
7. Collaborating with clients, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure all project requirements are met and expectations exceeded.
8. Conducting regular site inspections and safety audits, ensuring all work is carried out in accordance with company and industry safety standards.
Qualifications:
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience as an Electrical Project Manager in the construction industry, with a focus on schools and civic work.
2. Proven expertise in estimating, budgeting, and risk management for electrical construction projects.
3. Strong leadership skills, with a track record of leading high-performing teams.
4. Extensive knowledge of electrical safety standards and regulations.
5. Proficiency in using project management software, specifically Procore and Blue Beam.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
7. A strong commitment to safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.
8. A degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred.
