Independently manage one or more moderately complex projects from planning through closeout, including scope, schedule, budget, and risk management + Coordinate and oversee all phases of assigned projects, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and within scope + Provide owner-side project management support, including project controls, scheduling, cost tracking, estimating, procurement coordination, and change management + Direct and coordinate the efforts of AECOM technical staff, subconsultants, and other support resources + Interface directly with OC San project managers, engineers, operations staff, and leadership + Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks; proactively resolve issues to minimize impacts to cost, schedule, and quality + Review and provide quality control oversight of design calculations, drawings, specifications, and technical documents + Participate in interdisciplinary reviews of project deliverables + Prepare project-related documentation, including correspondence, reports, meeting minutes, schedules, and status updates + Support coordination with contractors during construction, including RFIs, submittals, and issue resolution + May provide guidance and oversight to mid- and junior-level engineers or project managers supporting assigned projects + Collaborate with AECOM regional teams as needed to support OC San program objectives **Qualifications** **Minimum Requirements:** + Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, or related engineering field and 6 years of experience in water/wastewater engineering and design, including project analysis, feasibility, and budgeting required or demonstrated equivalency of experience and or education + Registration as a Professional Engineer + Valid Driver’s License and must be able to pass AECOM’s Motor Vehicle Records review. **Preferred Requirements:** + Master's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering + Registration as a Professional Engineer in California, or able to obtain same in six months after hiring + Strong written and oral communication, quantitative and interpersonal skills + Strong work ethic and professional demeanor + Proactive on assignments and demonstrate initiative + Must work independently with minimal supervision, and complete multiple technical tasks under tight deadlines + Proficient with CAD and design software (Civil 3D, Bentley Design Suites, Water CAD, Sewer CAD, ARC GIS, etc **Additional Information** + Sponsorship will be considered for this position + Relocation will be considered for this position Offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location.
