Does that sound like you?The Opportunity with McKinstryWe are currently seeking a Project Manager to join us as a member of our growing Electrical Construction team. Are you motivated by delivering successful projects safely, on time, and on budget with high client satisfaction? If so, this opportunity could be for you. Additionally, some responsibilities you will have include:Transitioning project management and engineering activities through the design to construction phase.Support and provide input to development strategies, goals, and objectives specific to project execution at each project phase.Developing and managing project plans, schedules, and scopes of work.Preparing client and subcontractor change orders.Assume financial responsibility for projects including accurate, timely, and relevant reporting to stakeholders.Monitor, control, and report on the financial performance of projects.Responsible for the development and implementation of a comprehensive construction plan and monitors progress towards goals to anticipate potential problems.Coordination of work with trades, subcontractors and vendors.Coach and mentor project team members.Develop project staffing plans to include labor, subcontractors.What You Need to Succeed at McKinstryBachelor's degree in construction management or engineering or equivalent professional experience required.Five to eight (5-8) years of experience in project management, engineering, or construction is required.Experience working for a General Contractor or Major Mechanical Subcontractor preferred.Proficient with scheduling software: Microsoft Project, Primavera and/or Suretrak preferred.Completed OSHA 30 class is preferred.Basic estimating skills preferred.Demonstrates an understanding of accounting and financial management required.PeopleFirst BenefitsWhen it comes to the basics, we have you covered:Competitive pay401(k) with employer match and profit‑sharing planPaid time off and holidaysComprehensive medical, prescription, dental, and vision with low or zero deductible options and low out of pocket maximumsPeople come first at McKinstry, and we go beyond the basic benefits with:Family formation benefits, including adoption and IVF assistanceUp to 16 weeks paid parental leaveTransgender inclusive benefitsCommuter benefitsPet insurance"Building Good" paid community service timeLearning and advancement opportunities via McKinstry UniversityMcKinstry Moves onsite gyms or reimbursement for remote workersSee benefit plan documents for complete details.If you're driven by our vision to build a thriving planet together, McKinstry is the place to build your career.The pay range for this position is $93,600 - $164,400 per year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience. Base pay information is based on market location.
