Job Description
Design, develop, and support embedded electronic systems for industrial inspection and automation equipment.
Create and modify analog, digital, and mixed-signal circuit designs for new and existing products.
Develop PCBA schematics and layouts using Altium Designer.
Lead hardware and software bring-up, debugging, verification, and validation activities.
Integrate embedded software components into complete inspection and control systems.
Design and support DSP-based applications involving signal processing and algorithm development.
Collaborate with cross-functional engineering, manufacturing, and product teams to deliver customer-focused solutions.
Support sensor integration projects involving acoustic, proximity, load cell, and other industrial sensing technologies.
Troubleshoot system performance issues related to power delivery, signal integrity, EMI/EMC, and reliability.
Participate in design reviews, mentor junior engineers, and support manufacturing ramp-up and product sustainment efforts.

The Successful Applicant
A successful Embedded Systems Engineer should have:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.
5+ years of experience developing embedded hardware and software systems.
Strong experience with analog, digital, and mixed-signal circuit design.
Hands-on expertise with PCB design, schematic capture, and layout using Altium Designer.
Experience developing DSP-based systems and implementing signal processing algorithms.
Knowledge of FPGA and CPLD development using VHDL and/or Verilog.
Familiarity with industrial communication protocols such as Ethernet/IP, Modbus, TCP/IP, and RS-232/485.
Experience integrating analog and digital sensors into industrial applications.
Strong troubleshooting skills related to signal integrity, EMI/EMC, validation, and reliability.
Programming experience with C and embedded systems development tools.
Ability to work effectively in laboratory and manufacturing environments while collaborating across departments.
