Central MEP Solutions is hiring a skilled Electrical Technician for a commercial project in Washington, DC. This position is ideal for a mid-level professional with hands-on experience in commercial electrical systems and the ability to work effectively within a union environment.
You will support installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical systems on active commercial job sites.
Install, maintain, and repair commercial electrical systems
Assist with conduit installation and wire pulling
Terminate wiring and connect electrical components
Install lighting, panels, and other electrical equipment
Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform basic testing
Follow union guidelines and job site safety standards
Maintain a clean and organized work area
3–5 years of commercial electrical experience
Experience working on union job sites required
Strong understanding of electrical systems and NEC guidelines
Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings
Proficient with hand and power tools
Strong attention to detail and safety
Reliable transportation to Washington, DC
