Foster a culture of safety by actively participating in safety initiatives and upholding environmental health and safety (EHS) standards and practices.
Deliver hands-on technical expertise and timely solutions for both scheduled and unscheduled equipment maintenance, covering production equipment and support systems such as medium- and high-voltage machinery, 250VDC supply systems, compressed air systems, CNC machines, crane remote controls, PLCs, AC/DC drives, and network systems.
Collaborate with engineering teams during the setup, testing, and commissioning phases of new or modified equipment to ensure smooth operational integration.
Provide mentorship and skill development opportunities for supervisors and technical staff, with an emphasis on continuous improvement in technical capabilities.
Design and implement targeted training programs to elevate the technical proficiency of the workforce.
Develop and document operational and maintenance procedures, including standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions, and conduct training sessions to reinforce best practices.
Contribute to preventive and predictive maintenance programs by offering technical insights that enhance equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for equipment failures, while maintaining thorough records of troubleshooting activities and solutions.
Oversee the management of critical spare parts inventories to ensure operational readiness.
Leverage stability tools and business systems methodologies to integrate effective maintenance practices into routine operations.
Offer after-hours and weekend support as required to address time-sensitive challenges.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Completion of high school education or equivalent certification (GED) from an accredited institution.
At least 3 years of hands-on electrical maintenance experience within a manufacturing environment.
Successful completion of an electrical competency assessment.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Formal training through an electrical apprenticeship, on-the-job training (minimum of four years), or a degree in electrical technology from a recognized technical institute.
Comprehensive knowledge of combustion systems or commercial/industrial boiler operations.
Familiarity with medium- and high-voltage electrical systems and network infrastructures.
Proficiency in interpreting electrical schematics and executing troubleshooting techniques to resolve complex system issues.
Expertise in PLC programming and troubleshooting, as well as experience with AC and DC motors and variable frequency drives.
Understanding of process control systems and instrumentation.
