Ayers Career College | Shreveport, LA | Full-Time & Part-Time Available

Do you have real-world experience in electronics or electrical systems and a passion for helping others succeed? Ayers Career College is looking for an Electronics Instructor who wants to turn their industry expertise into a meaningful career in education.

You don't need a teaching degree, you need hands-on knowledge, a commitment to students, and the ability to bring the subject to life in both the classroom and the lab.

What You'll Do

As an instructor at Ayers, you'll guide students through both classroom learning and hands-on lab work, preparing them for in-demand careers in the electrical/electronics field. Day to day, you'll teach and mentor students at various skill levels, manage a professional and engaging classroom environment, provide tutoring and individualized support, and model the professional standards we expect our graduates to bring to the workforce.

What We're Looking For

The most important thing is your industry experience and your genuine interest in helping students grow. Beyond that, strong candidates will have a minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in electrical or electronics technology, strong communication skills and a professional demeanor, the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines, and solid organizational skills. A relevant industry certification is a plus, as is prior teaching or mentoring experience.

A high school diploma or GED is required; additional education is always a bonus.

What We Offer

Ayers takes care of its people. You'll receive a competitive salary, medical, dental, vision and life insurance, paid time off and paid holidays, and both full-time and part-time scheduling options.
