Central MEP Solutions is hiring a skilled Electrical Technician for a commercial union project in Washington, DC. This role is ideal for a mid-level professional with strong hands-on experience in commercial electrical systems and the ability to work effectively within a union environment.
You will support installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical systems on active commercial construction sites.
Install and maintain commercial electrical systems
Assist with conduit installation and wire pulling
Terminate wiring and connect electrical components
Install lighting systems, panels, and related equipment
Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform system testing
Follow union agreements and job site safety standards
Maintain a clean and organized work area
3–5 years of commercial electrical experience
Experience working on union job sites required
Strong understanding of NEC guidelines and commercial wiring practices
Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings
Proficient with hand and power tools
Strong attention to detail and safety
Reliable transportation to Washington, DC
