Description:
  • Wiring Technician at *** typically involves tasks related to installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting wiring systems. Responsibilities: Install and wire control panels: Set up and connect control panels, door devices, and in-home systems.
  • Run new wires: Drill holes and run new wiring through residential or commercial properties. Test systems: Use diagnostic equipment to ensure safe and full functionality of installed systems. Read blueprints: Interpret blueprints and wiring schematics to guide installations. Follow safety protocols: Adhere to safe wiring practices and company guidelines.
  • Electrician performs routine electrical duties utilizing machines and tools requiring specialized training such as overhead cranes, power and hands tools, etc. The operator is responsible for the throughput and quality of the product which is measured to a standard. The product produced is necessary for the final assembly and for direct sale to the customer. Produce high quality products and services for our customers.
  • You will assemble, test and inspect product and systems to ensure the highest quality product is provided to our customers. You will be responsible for your work area to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the area. You will set up and monitor the production of product in your area and participate in the continuous improvement process at the site to address safety, production and quality improvements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Verifies dimensions with measuring instruments, such as tape measure blocks.
  • Participate in continuous improvement activities.

  • Maintain work area for operation and cleanliness
  • Comply with all safety rules.
  • Set up and change over equipment
  • Use measuring and diagnostic tools
  • Adheres to all safety guidelines and uses Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) preventing incidents or injury to self or others
  • Knowledge and proper use of any necessary safety equipment, work aids, tools or personal protective equipment.
  • Checks materials prior to processing to assure they meet specifications.
  • Verifies dimensions with measuring instruments, such as tape measure blocks.
YOU MUST HAVE:
  • Electrical wiring experience
  • Ability to work with 480 Volt 3 Phase.
  • Ability to lift 40 lb.
  • Ability to read wiring schematics
  • Studies specifications, blueprints, sketch, or description to determine assembly sequence, tolerances, and adjustments.
  • Knowledge of AC/DC circuitry.
  • Measures, examines, assembles, tests and completes units, and detect defects to ensure conformance to specifications, using precision testing instruments such as specified programs
  • Sets up, wires, and operates (test) all the units per blueprint
  • Able to perform the essential functions of the job.
  • Understanding of Multi-meter functions
