Overview:
Responsible for preventative maintenance and repair of electrical equipment in the facility.
Responsibilities:
- Complete preventative maintenance tickets (PM’s)
- Inspect electrical equipment daily
- Installation and repair of equipment
- Inspect production lines daily
- Troubleshoot equipment failures
- Work with shift operation supervision to advise equipment down time as required
Qualifications:
- Training or technical degree in industrial electricity with extensive experience in:
- hydraulics & pneumatics
- PLC and Inverter drives
- Strong mechanical aptitude with trouble shooting and diagnostic skills
- Know and understand electrical principles and electronics
- Knowledge of diverse electrical equipment
- Proficient with electrical instruments, hand and power tools
- Experience working on high bay overhead cranes
- Excellent safety and attendance record
- Strong communications skills
