GableTek | Holland, MI Contract Position | 8 Openings | Immediate Start
GableTek is actively seeking experienced Industrial Electricians to support a major machine tool automation project in Holland, Michigan. This is an excellent opportunity for electricians with industrial automation experience who enjoy building, wiring, troubleshooting, and commissioning custom automated equipment.
We are especially interested in candidates who have previously worked in a machine tool or automation integrator environment. Previous experience supporting major automation projects is highly preferred.
Position Details
Location: Holland, MI
Duration: July 27 – September 18, 2026 (Possible Extension or Hired Direct based on performance)
Openings: 8
Schedule: Approximately 50 hours per week
Travel: Possible travel assignments after project completion
Contract Position
Competitive Pay: $30 to $45 an hour, based on experience
Responsibilities
Build and wire custom automation equipment according to electrical schematics and engineering drawings
Assemble electrical components and machine wiring to customer specifications
Install and troubleshoot industrial electrical systems and control circuits
Read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
Wire control panels, field devices, motors, sensors, and electrical components
Troubleshoot wiring issues and electrical faults during machine build and startup
Ensure all work complies with NEC standards and quality requirements
Document electrical changes and communicate issues with the project team
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area
Support project milestones while meeting quality, schedule, and customer expectations
Qualifications
4+ years of industrial electrical or machine tool wiring experience preferred
Journeyman Electrician card preferred
Experience with:
Machine wiring
Industrial control panels
Electrical troubleshooting
Reading electrical schematics
NEC-compliant wiring practices
Mechanical aptitude and strong troubleshooting skills
Comfortable working independently and within a team
Ability to bend, kneel, climb ladders, work around machinery, and lift up to 50 lbs.
High school diploma or equivalent
Vocational or technical electrical training is a plus
