About the Role:
Join Anderson Electrical Contracting as an Electrician Mechanic and become part of a dedicated team in Cedar Grove, NJ! We are looking for skilled professionals who are passionate about electrical work and eager to contribute to our reputation for excellence.
Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in residential and commercial settings.
- Diagnose electrical issues and provide effective solutions to ensure safety and functionality.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople and contractors to complete projects on time.
- Ensure compliance with local electrical codes and safety regulations.
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical systems.
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain positive client relationships.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in electrical technology.
Requirements:
- Valid New Jersey Electrical License or equivalent certification.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical installation and repair.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and safety practices.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends if necessary.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
