Electro-Mechanical Assembler

Role & Responsibilities

We are seeking 3-4 Electro-Mechanical Assemblers for a precision electronics manufacturer, which would be a great opportunity for someone with experience in soldering, electronics assembly, and inspection looking to further their career in precision manufacturing.

•      Assemble precision electronic and electromechanical components using hand tools and work instructions

•      Hand solder through-hole and fine-pitch parts on PCBs and cables; perform rework

•      Operate assembly equipment; inspect and test product for non-conformances

•      Maintain ESD, 5S, and safety standards; train Level 1 assemblers and suggest process improvements

Essential Qualifications

•      2-3 years of hands-on electronics or electromechanical assembly experience with required through-hole soldering

•      Ability to read schematics and assembly drawings; use magnification tools; knowledge of ESD, Lean/5S, and ISO 9001

•      Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods

Bonus Qualifications

•      SMT/fine-pitch soldering; IPC-610 or J-STD-001 certification

•      Opto-electronics, medical device, or aerospace assembly experience

•      Bearing installation, bonding, or basic test equipment experience
