Role Overview

We are seeking an Electro-Mechanical Assembler to perform basic electronic and electro-mechanical assembly using work instructions, mechanical diagrams, wire run lists, and verbal instructions. The role will support production schedules while maintaining quality, cleanliness, safety, and accurate manufacturing documentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic electronic or electro-mechanical assembly.
• Use work instructions, mechanical diagrams, wire run lists, and verbal instructions to complete work.
• Disassemble, rework, or reassemble units as necessary to meet production schedules.
• Maintain appropriate cleanliness, quality, material handling, and safety procedures.
• Perform required quality checks, audits, and inspections.
• Maintain accountability for the quality of finished products, subassemblies, and installed components.
• Participate in quality and productivity improvement activities.
• Report injuries and near misses to the supervisor immediately.
• Participate in accident investigations.
• Complete assigned training programs.
• Follow safety procedures and personal protective equipment requirements.
• Operate basic computer programs as necessary.
• Complete required documentation, including timesheets, vacation requests, and supply issues.
• Follow applicable ISO procedures.
• Package and prepare equipment for shipment as needed.
• Work with manufacturing engineering and document control to maintain work instructions and manufacturing documentation.
• Perform other duties as assigned or necessary to meet customer needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 6 months of related manufacturing experience.
• Ability to assemble complex mechanical, electrical, and electronic subsystems.
• Ability to work independently and in groups.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Basic computer operating experience.
• Ability and willingness to work overtime.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to use small hand and power tools and measuring devices.
• Ability to maintain appropriate cleanliness in a clean manufacturing environment.
• Proven mechanical aptitude.
• Knowledge of electrical and mechanical assembly techniques.
• Knowledge of soldering techniques.
• Knowledge of plumbing and piping systems.
• Knowledge of pneumatic and electro-mechanical components.
• Ability to communicate and cooperate with coworkers to maintain a safe, high-quality, and productive work environment.

• Experience with complex mechanical, electrical, and electronic subsystem assembly.
• Experience with soldering techniques.
• Experience with plumbing or piping systems.
• Experience with pneumatic and electro-mechanical components.
