Duration: 12 months
Compensation: $19.80–$22.00/hour
Employment Type: W2 (not open to C2C, 1099, or visa sponsorship)
Role Overview
We are seeking an Electro-Mechanical Assembler to perform basic electronic and electro-mechanical assembly using work instructions, mechanical diagrams, wire run lists, and verbal instructions. The role will support production schedules while maintaining quality, cleanliness, safety, and accurate manufacturing documentation.
Responsibilities
Perform basic electronic or electro-mechanical assembly.
Use work instructions, mechanical diagrams, wire run lists, and verbal instructions to complete work.
Disassemble, rework, or reassemble units as necessary to meet production schedules.
Maintain appropriate cleanliness, quality, material handling, and safety procedures.
Perform required quality checks, audits, and inspections.
Maintain accountability for the quality of finished products, subassemblies, and installed components.
Participate in quality and productivity improvement activities.
Report injuries and near misses to the supervisor immediately.
Participate in accident investigations.
Complete assigned training programs.
Follow safety procedures and personal protective equipment requirements.
Operate basic computer programs as necessary.
Complete required documentation, including timesheets, vacation requests, and supply issues.
Follow applicable ISO procedures.
Package and prepare equipment for shipment as needed.
Work with manufacturing engineering and document control to maintain work instructions and manufacturing documentation.
Perform other duties as assigned or necessary to meet customer needs.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum 6 months of related manufacturing experience.
Ability to assemble complex mechanical, electrical, and electronic subsystems.
Ability to work independently and in groups.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
Basic computer operating experience.
Ability and willingness to work overtime.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Ability to use small hand and power tools and measuring devices.
Ability to maintain appropriate cleanliness in a clean manufacturing environment.
Proven mechanical aptitude.
Knowledge of electrical and mechanical assembly techniques.
Knowledge of soldering techniques.
Knowledge of plumbing and piping systems.
Knowledge of pneumatic and electro-mechanical components.
Ability to communicate and cooperate with coworkers to maintain a safe, high-quality, and productive work environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with complex mechanical, electrical, and electronic subsystem assembly.
Experience with soldering techniques.
Experience with plumbing or piping systems.
Experience with pneumatic and electro-mechanical components.
