Electro-Mechanical Assembler
Tustin, CA (100% Onsite position Monday - Friday)
6+ month contract to hire
Pay Rate: $20.00 - $21.00 an hour DOE 

Immediate need for multiple Electro- Mechanical Assemblers that will perform electro-mechanical assembly at the component and sub-assembly level using defined work instructions, drawings, and procedures in accordance with company policies and quality standards. Complete job documentation and verification sheets following Good Documentation Practices (GDP). Read and follow assembly, test, and packaging procedures. Read and interpret assembly drawings and schematics. Perform electro-mechanical assembly of small parts, components, and sub-assemblies following work instructions and schematics. Complete wiring, crimping, stripping, tinning, potting, and hand soldering on circuit board assemblies. Conduct mechanical and electronic assembly using written instructions, drawings, and specifications. Test air motors and medical devices using established procedures. Package and label finished product, including cleanroom battery packaging. Inspect assemblies and subassemblies for compliance to drawings and specifications. Rework or reject assemblies that do not meet requirements. Report unusual issues encountered during assembly, testing, or packaging. Identify non-conforming material and initiate required documentation.

What Success Looks Like:
A highly detail-oriented assembler with strong soldering expertise, the ability to read schematics, and a track record of producing high-quality work in a regulated manufacturing environment.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must be able to pass a hands-on soldering test during the interview using lead-free techniques. This is a strict requirement for hire. - Min one year of experience
  • Perform detailed electro-mechanical assembly at the component and sub-assembly level using drawings, schematics, and work instructions
  • Execute wiring, crimping, stripping, tinning, potting, and hand soldering on circuit board assemblies
  • Conduct mechanical and electronic assembly in a regulated, quality-driven environment (medical device preferred)
  • Inspect, test, and troubleshoot assemblies to ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards
  • Follow Good Documentation Practices (GDP) and maintain accurate production records
  • Work within cleanroom environments and adhere to strict safety and 5S standards
  • Utilize hand tools, electrical tools, and precision equipment with strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
