About this position
SeeScan is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Assembler to join our camera assembly team.
This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday from 5:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Compensation
This position pays $20/hour or more, depending on qualifications.

We are looking for a long-term, in-house team member to join us, not a contractor or consultant.
In this position, you will
- Assemble electronic and mechanical components using small- and large-scale tools such as tweezers, pliers, and torque wrenches
- Work with a microscope to inspect parts for debris and for assemblage of precision-critical parts
- Solder parts and assemblies as required
- Work within a team to assemble smaller components as part of a larger assembly
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to facilitate manufacturing functions
- Perform in-process quality checks on assembly
- Perform rework and repairs as needed
- Perform other related duties as assigned, including maintenance of work area and equipment
Background and experience
- Experience assembling electronic, structural, and mechanical subassemblies in a manufacturing environment
- Familiarity with basic hand tools (manual and powered)
- Knowledge of QA protocols for assembly workers
- Able to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Able to read a Bill of Materials and identify required parts

- Patient and methodical approach to repetitive close-tolerance assembly work
