Electro-mechanical Technician

Our team is looking for an Electro-mechanical Technician to join our Operations team. In this hands-on manufacturing role, you will be responsible for assembling, testing, troubleshooting, and repairing precision electro-mechanical products while ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and production standards. This is an onsite position based in Creedmoor, North Carolina.

To be considered for the Electro-mechanical Technician role, here's what you'll need to bring with you:
High school diploma or equivalent
2–5 years of experience in electro-mechanical or electronic assembly within a manufacturing environment
Soldering experience required (J-STD-001 certification preferred)
Experience working with PCB assemblies, electronic modules, wiring, and electro-mechanical products
Experience with through-hole and SMT soldering techniques
Ability to assemble and inspect products under magnification
Strong mechanical aptitude, manual dexterity, and attention to detail
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, work instructions, and specifications
Experience troubleshooting and reworking assemblies that fail testing
Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems and basic Microsoft Office applications
Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Willingness to learn new products, support continuous improvement initiatives, and rotate across multiple product lines
Ability to work overtime, alternate shifts as needed, and travel occasionally for product transition and training
As an Electro-mechanical Technician, you will:
Assemble, inspect, test, troubleshoot, and repair electro-mechanical products in accordance with engineering documentation and quality standards
Interpret work instructions, schematics, engineering drawings, and specifications to complete assembly operations
Perform precision assembly tasks including soldering, wiring, crimping, adhesive application, fitting components, and mechanical adjustments
Assemble and inspect printed circuit boards, coils, electronic modules, and final assemblies
Perform rework and repairs on assemblies that do not meet testing or quality requirements
Support engineering during new product introductions, product transfers, and manufacturing improvements
Maintain accurate production records using ERP/MRP and other business systems
Ensure products meet quality requirements prior to inspection and release
Follow ESD, FOD, safety, workmanship, and quality procedures
Support lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, and cross-training initiatives
Assist with training and knowledge sharing across the production team
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Travel occasionally to support new product transitions and manufacturing training

Applicants must successfully complete job-related assessments including numeracy, literacy, and dexterity testing.
This role requires working with epoxy and other industrial materials and may require product- or customer-specific medical surveillance, including vision testing.
The position involves prolonged periods of concentration, sitting, use of small hand tools, and operation of manufacturing equipment.
Occasional domestic travel may be required for training and product transitions.
This position requires access to U.S. export-controlled information.
