Job Title: Mechanical Assembler

Location: Camarillo CA

Pay Range: 18 50hr

Shift: 1st shift 6am to 230pm 

What's the Job?

• Set up equipment to meet product standards for identification, shell painting, retainer loading contact painting wire cutting riveting contact crimping and contact hooding
• Weigh mix identify inks paints adhesives molding compounds and potting materials
• Follow intermediate drawings and procedures and perform connector assemblies using written and verbal instructions
• Manually load and or machine load retainers into molded plastic inserts then bond front inserts to rear inserts per work order instructions
• Prepare single and shielded wires for termination crimp contacts to prepared wires terminate simple cables to connectors and load or operate heat treat and annealing ovens

What's Needed

• One to two years of experience in related mechanical manufacturing assembly operations
• Ability to read follow and understand verbal instruction product and process specifications drawings and work orders in English
• Ability to use calculators
• Ability to lift up to thirty pounds and handle components and assemblies using bending reaching and twisting body movements including use of hand tools
• Electromechanical assembly experience a plus
