If precision, data, and getting things right the first time make you tick, you’ll feel at home here. In this role, you’ll be the link between design intent and shop-floor reality—verifying parts against drawings, probing performance through destructive and nondestructive testing, and turning results into clear insights that keep our products dependable.
What you’ll do
Read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and formulas to define inspection criteria.
Use gauges, micrometers, and other metrology tools to confirm part and assembly accuracy to blueprint specifications.
Record test data in Epicor and Microsoft Office; apply statistical quality control techniques to production data.
Create charts and graphs, evaluate trends, and write reports that confirm conformance or call out deviations from established standards.
Set up and run destructive and nondestructive tests to characterize material properties, product life, and performance.
Collaborate with production and engineering to resolve issues and verify corrective actions.
Bring or build PCB troubleshooting capability—a strong plus in this role.
How you’ll work
Deliver accurate, thorough work and continuously seek better ways of doing things.
Communicate clearly in writing and interpret technical documentation effectively.
Show up consistently and on time; ensure coverage when you’re out; arrive promptly to meetings.
Follow instructions, respond to direction, and take ownership of results.
Manage priorities, use time well, and meet deadlines.
Listen, clarify, and contribute constructively in meetings and Q&A.
Stay persistent and overcome obstacles; ask for and offer help proactively.
Troubleshoot problems with data-driven reasoning; collaborate to develop alternatives; remain composed amid pressure.
Assess your strengths and gaps, pursue training, expand your technical breadth, and share knowledge.
Balance individual and team goals; stay open to feedback; help build a positive, high-morale culture.
Operate safely and use equipment/materials properly.
