What you’ll do

  • Maintain, install, troubleshoot, and repair CNC equipment across the facility.
  • Diagnose and service industrial electronics and control systems.
  • Set up and troubleshoot variable frequency drives (DC and AC) to resolve performance and fault issues.
  • Identify and correct PLC faults on Allen‑Bradley SLC‑500 and CompactLogix controllers.
  • Use test equipment to verify signals, trace faults, and validate repairs.
  • Support plant systems: air compressors; pneumatic and hydraulic circuits; chilled water and HVAC.
  • Leverage mechanical drawings and electrical schematics/relay logic to plan and execute work.

What you bring

  • 2+ years of experience in industrial maintenance.
  • Proven skill with DC/AC VFD installation, setup, and troubleshooting.
  • Hands-on PLC repair experience with Allen‑Bradley SLC‑500 and CompactLogix.
  • Comfort using standard test equipment for diagnostics.
  • Working knowledge of air, pneumatic, hydraulic, chilled water, and HVAC systems.
  • Ability to interpret mechanical prints/drawings and electrical line diagrams/relay logic.

Environment & physical demands

  • Air-conditioned workspace with machinery noise.
  • Potential exposure to coolants, lubricants, abrasive compounds, electricity, and wiring.
  • Regular standing, walking, climbing, pushing/pulling, grasping, kneeling, squatting, bending, twisting/turning, reaching above shoulder.
  • Lifting requirements: 0–50 lbs.
