Electronics Assembler – IPC Class 3

Seeking an Electronics Assembler – IPC Class 3 to build and inspect high-reliability electronic assemblies and act as a technical resource for the production team.

Responsibilities

• Verify Class 3 workmanship and documentation through in-process inspection
• Produce high-quality solder joints and crimp terminations, and set up and change over crimp tooling
• Assemble and modify electronic units, aligning and fitting components to support wiring
• Build to prints, schematics, work orders and supervisor direction
• Select wire and read precise measurements to meet build specs
• Test and inspect assemblies at each stage, and review the quality of peers' builds
• Prepare jobs, complete production records, and resolve build issues
• Guide coworkers on assembly methods across all stations
• Package and prepare finished product for shipment

Requirements

• Current IPC certification with a solid grasp of Class 3 standards
• 1–2 years in electronics assembly
• Expert-level soldering and crimping
• Able to interpret schematics, drawings and specifications
• Experienced with calipers, micrometers, scales and magnification
• Strong time management and experience preparing product for shipment
