Phoenix Defense is currently seeking applicants for Electronic Technician Maintenance I positions supporting the Warfighter-Training Readiness Solutions Program (W-TRS) in Louisville, KY.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
- The Electronics Technician Maintenance II position will perform all functions required to maintain and repair electronic TADSS and equipment, including a variety of Training Devices
- Performs preventative maintenance IAW technical guidelines and equipment specifications ensuring proper functionality and safe operating conditions
- Applies advanced technical knowledge to solve routine electrical, mechanical, and computer issues by interpreting. manufacturers manuals or similar documents
- Performs inventory of spare/repair parts IAW contractual guidelines
- Capture and records accurate maintenance history ensuring unique corrective measures for work orders and repair are annotated into MIS.
- Applies basic and advanced technical knowledge to solve routine problems
- May supervise, provide direction/guidance, and check lower-level technicians' work
- Ensuring that all paperwork and reports are completed in a timely and accurate manner
- Reads and interprets schematic drawings and diagrams required to perform maintenance
- This position may require travel to other installations and other W-TRS locations.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- 1-3 years' experience with electronics testing/troubleshooting.
- Intermediate computer and networking skills.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Linux, and Unix operating systems.
- Must be able to wear appropriate personal protective equipment.
- Ability to obtain Electronics Technician Certification.
- Must be a High School Graduate or have a GED.

- Excellent written and oral communications skills, attention to detail, strong organizational skills, computer proficiency, and the ability to work under strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment
