Akkodis is seeking an Electronics Technician II - R&D Testing Labs for a Contract with a client in Simsbury, CT. The ideal candidate will support prototyping, testing, troubleshooting, and repair of electronic and electro-mechanical products in a dynamic lab environment.

Rate Range: $35/Hour to $39/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Electronics Technician II - R&D Testing Labs Responsibilities include:

• Perform troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and repair of electronic, electrical, and electro-mechanical products and prototypes.

• Support product development activities through testing, validation, rework, and documentation of engineering work.

• Operate and maintain laboratory test equipment while ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and equipment verification standards.

• Coordinate and prioritize multiple projects, working closely with engineers and managers to meet business objectives.

• Prepare accurate test reports, technical documentation, and data analysis to support engineering decisions.

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives, laboratory housekeeping, and EH&S compliance while contributing to a collaborative team environment.

Required Qualifications:

• Associate degree (AAS) in Electronics Technology, Electrical Engineering Technology, or a related technical field; equivalent hands-on experience will also be considered.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in electronics troubleshooting, testing, repair, and electro-mechanical systems support.

• Strong ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation, with experience using electronic and mechanical test equipment.

• Experience with component-level troubleshooting, soldering and rework (including SMD assemblies), mechanical fabrication, and technical report writing.

Pay Details: $35.00 to $39.00 per hour
