Are you a skilled electrophysiologist passionate about advancing heart health? We are seeking a dedicated Electrophysiology Physician to provide specialized cardiac support at a prestigious Level III trauma center. This short-term contract offers a unique opportunity to work with a dynamic team, perform critical procedures, and impact patient outcomes in a challenging and rewarding environment.
What Youll Bring:
- Board Certification in Cardiovascular Disease or Electrophysiology
- Valid State Medical License and DEA Certification
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Proven experience with EP procedures, including lab interventions and consults
- Strong diagnostic and clinical skills with the ability to work independently
- Excellent communication and patient care abilities
Nice to Have:
- Additional certifications in advanced electrophysiology techniques
- Prior experience working in trauma centers or high-acuity settings
- Familiarity with Cerner EMR system
Preferred Education & Experience:
- MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
- Minimum of 3+ years of post-residency experience in electrophysiology
- Prior locum or temporary contract work preferred but not required
Other Important Details:
- Contract duration: 3 months starting May 18, 2026
- Working one day per week (day shift, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM)
- Position requires performing procedures in the lab and EP consultations
- No licensing assistance provided; candidates must hold or obtain required licenses in advance
- Credentialing estimated at 45-60 days
