Beavercreek City Schools is seeking Elementary Intervention Support Teachers; 1 for each building (6).

Applications are now being accepted for the above named positions for the 2026 - 2027 school year to provide one (1) Intervention Support Teacher (IVT) per elementary school.

QUALIFICATIONS, DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES, and other DETAILS

  • The selected teacher is to be properly licensed in the grade levels and content areas (Math and ELA) of support.
  • The teacher will be hired on an Itinerant Supplemental contract and paid $160/day for up to 120 days between approximately September 21st, 2026 - May 14, 2027 as worked and reported.
  • No more than seven (7) hours may be worked per day, not including a 30 minute unpaid lunch break.
  • No more than four (4) days worked in any given week, Monday through Friday as an intervention support teacher. They are eligible to substitute at the regular sub rate of pay on the other day(s) in any given week during the specified date range. Specific workdays will be determined by the building principal. The work calendar is to be submitted to HR/Payroll.
  • Intervention Support Teachers may work with both large and small groups of students for academic and social and emotional learning development.
  • Intervention Support Teachers may supervise students during unstructured activities such as lunch, recess, etc. but the focus should be on providing intervention support to students
  • Classroom teachers and Intervention Support Teachers will be responsible for collaborating to provide intervention support to students with the highest needs for targeted instruction.
