Pay: $48/hour and up, based on experience
Birch Agency is seeking a dedicated and fully certified Special Education Teacher for an elementary school opportunity in Georgetown, MA. This position will support students in Grades 1 5 through a pull-out instructional setting, providing individualized academic support and specialized instruction to meet diverse learning needs.
Position Responsibilities
Provide specialized instruction to elementary students in a Grades 1 5 pull-out setting.
Develop and implement individualized instructional strategies aligned with students IEPs.
Provide differentiated instruction to support academic growth and student achievement.
Monitor student progress and adjust instructional approaches as needed.
Collaborate with general education teachers, school staff, and families to support student success.
Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with special education requirements.
Foster a positive, supportive, and engaging learning environment.
Qualifications
Must hold a valid and appropriate Special Education teaching certification.
Fully certified Special Education Teacher required.
Experience working with elementary students preferred.
Experience with IEP implementation, differentiated instruction, and individualized student support.
Strong communication, organizational, and classroom management skills.
