The Opportunity:
We are seeking a dynamic and committed STEM educator with strong content and pedagogical knowledge, solid classroom management skills, a deep commitment to educational and racial equity, and experience working in an urban school setting. You will facilitate learning experiences where students engage in hands-on activities, projects, and develop solutions to real world problems through integration of science, computer science, engineering, and more. While you will work primarily with General Education classrooms, our school prides itself on a full inclusion model.
The ideal candidate is someone who can promote student sense-making as they build their understanding of complex concepts while also ensuring that students with high needs are actively engaged and supported.
