Organization Information The Grant County School District is a forward-thinking system built on a strong tradition of excellence. It is located in north-central Kentucky along the I-75 corridor, with gently rolling farmland to the south and light urban development to the north. The district offers its students the benefits of well-trained, caring staff; proven instructional methods; and safe, attractive, well-maintained facilities. GCS has 4 elementary schools; an alternative learning center; a middle school; and a high school featuring a brand new career and technology center. The district is governed by an elected Board; all schools utilize Site-Based Decision Making Councils.
