INTRODUCING THE 'MY NEW BOAT' PROGRAM

Saferboater.org is currently looking for enthusiastic, professional, experienced boating instructors to meet the needs of our innovative MyNewBoat program!  The first of its kind in the boating industry.

This nationwide on-the-water training program runs coast-to-coast through manufacturers and dealers using curricula developed by USPowerboating and The NationalSafe Boater Council.

Requirements

Requirements :
  • Must hold a USCG Master License. (100T + preferred )
  • Minimum 3 YearExperience as a trainer (experience from any industry will count)
  • NSBC / US PowerboatingCertifications Preferred (Not Required toApply).
  • We WILL Train andCertify Enthusiastic Captains.
License/Certification:
  • Ocean-BasedCaptains:
    • USCG Master License  [OUPV --> 500T+]  ( Required )
    • Towing Endorsement ( Nice to Have )
    • Sailing Endorsement ( Nice to Have ) 
  • Lake-BasedCaptains:
    • 10+Years Experience or USCG MasterLicense  
    • Towing Endorsement ( Nice to Have ) 
Qualifications:
  • Can commit at least 4 Days (ie 30 hours) a month
  • Must love helping new boat owners/people
  • Must be comfortable using phone / tablet to access apps
