Careerscape is recruiting on behalf of our client for an Email Marketing Scheduler to join their fully remote marketing team. This is a fantastic entry point into the world of digital marketing, where you will own the calendar for outbound email campaigns, making sure every message goes out on time, to the right audience, and formatted to convert.
Day to day, you will spend your time inside an email marketing platform building sends, queuing automations, and double checking links, subject lines, and audience segments before anything goes live. The role suits someone detail oriented who likes organized, checklist driven work, is comfortable learning new software quickly, and wants to build a career in marketing operations without needing years of prior experience.
Responsibilities
- Schedule and queue outbound email campaigns across multiple lists and time zones
- Build and proofread emails in the email marketing platform prior to send
- Maintain and update the email content calendar
- Segment audiences based on campaign briefs and targeting criteria
- Run quality checks on links, images, personalization tags, and formatting
- Coordinate with the marketing and design teams to confirm send-ready assets
- Monitor scheduled sends and troubleshoot delivery issues as they arise
- Track open rates, click rates, and other basic campaign metrics
- Assist with list hygiene tasks such as removing bounces and unsubscribes
- Support A/B test setup for subject lines and send times
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required, some college coursework preferred
- No prior professional experience required, internships or coursework in marketing a plus
- Strong attention to detail and comfort with repetitive, precision based tasks
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets
- Comfortable learning new software platforms independently
- Reliable home internet connection and a quiet remote workspace
- Strong written communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast paced environment
