JOB TITLE: Embedded S/W Engineer

PAY RATE: $87.50/hour

Qualifying Questions:

Summary: 

• Develops real-time embedded software using C and C++.

• Works with Linux and real-time operating systems on multi-core processors.

• Performs software and firmware integration for embedded systems.

• Applies agile development methodologies including Scrum and Kanban.

• Uses GitLab and Bitbucket for version control and collaboration.

• Works with Yocto operating system.

• Applies Data Distribution System (DDS) middleware programming.

• Develops embedded real-time software for defense applications.

Requirements:

• Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).

• Active Secret Clearance with most recent investigation in the last 5 years.

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.

• 5+ years of C/C++ embedded real-time software development experience using Linux on multi-core processors.

• 5+ years of hands-on software/firmware integration experience.

• 3+ years of experience with agile development methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban) using GitLab and Bitbucket.

• Working knowledge of Yocto operating system.

• Familiarity with Data Distribution System (DDS) middleware programming.
