Title: Embedded Software Engineer
Apex Systems is currently hiring a Embedded Software Engineer with a large federal client. As a Systems Engineer, you will transform technology into opportunity by connecting and enhancing critical enterprise IT systems. You will play a key role in ensuring the security and intelligence of our technological infrastructure.
Role Overview
Our organization is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer to join an innovative Software Technologies Organization. The new team member will work on software systems for mission systems in all phases of the software development lifecycle, primarily in C/C++. The successful candidate will be collaborative, open, transparent, and team-oriented with a focus on team empowerment, shared responsibility, flexibility, continuous learning, and a culture of automation.
Key Responsibilities
Required Qualifications
Education: A Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related STEM field is required.
Experience: This role requires 8 years of related experience, including 6 years of experience working with C/C++ and real-time embedded software. Experience with the full software lifecycle (specification, design, implementation, integration, debug, and maintenance) is also required.
This is a DOD Special Access Program. Candidates must be willing and able to obtain a DOD Secret clearance and SAP access before they can begin program work.

Onsite expectation: 100% On-Site
Clearance Level: DoD Secret
Salary/Pay range: $60-$75/hr W-2 (Pending LCAT Fit - Level II, III & IV openings)
