    Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)

    Location: Cleveland, Youngstown & surrounding Northeast Ohio markets

    Pay: $20–$34/hour, based on experience, certification, and assignment

    Schedule: Full-time and Part-time opportunities available


    Summary

    Join an established and growing emergency medical services organization serving communities throughout Northeast Ohio.

    This team provides a wide range of emergency and non-emergency medical transportation services, including BLS, ALS, Specialty Care Transport, hospital-to-hospital transportation, and event medical coverage.

    For EMTs looking to build their experience, the variety here is a major advantage. Depending on your assignment and interests, you may support hospital partners, interfacility transports, emergency calls, or medical coverage at sporting events, concerts, races, and other large-scale events.


    What You'll Do

    As an EMT, you will work alongside dispatchers, paramedics, hospital teams, and other healthcare professionals to provide safe, professional, and compassionate patient care.

    Your responsibilities may include:

    • Responding to emergency, urgent, and scheduled medical transportation requests
    • Assessing patients and providing care within your EMT scope of practice
    • Safely transporting patients from emergency scenes, healthcare facilities, and other locations
    • Monitoring patients throughout transport and communicating changes in condition
    • Completing accurate and timely electronic patient care reports (ePCR)
    • Communicating with dispatch, receiving facilities, paramedics, and other members of the care team
    • Inspecting your assigned vehicle, equipment, and medical supplies before and during your shift
    • Maintaining a clean, stocked, and ready-to-respond ambulance


    What We're Looking For

    To be considered, you should have:

    • Current Ohio EMT certification
    • Current CPR/BLS certification
    • Valid driver's license and driving record that meets company requirements
    • High school diploma or GED
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
    • A dependable, professional approach to patient care
    • Ability to work effectively in a fast-moving, team-oriented environment

    Relevant experience may include:

    • 911 response
    • Interfacility transport
    • Basic Life Support transportation
    • Advanced Life Support environments
    • Specialty or Critical Care Transport
    • Emergency department or hospital-based patient care
    • Event medicine or standby medical coverage


    Competitive Pay

    Earn $20–$34/hour depending on your experience, qualifications, and assignment.
