Job Diva ID: 26-04879 Position Title: Emergency Room RN Location:Rockford IL 61103 Duration: 13-week Work Schedule: 12-Hour Evening / Night Shifts with Weekend and Holiday Rotation Pay rate: $70-$72 Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:
Triage incoming patients based on level of injury or illness
Immediately stabilize incoming patients
Administer medication as instructed by physicians
Start intravenous lines, and set broken bones
Perform tracheotomies and intubations
Give patients stitches and sutures
Create and maintain incoming patient records
Work with team of emergency staff to help patients
Help transfer stable patients to other wings
Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:
We are seeking an experienced ER RN for this opportunity. The ideal candidate will have experience working in an Emergency Department at a Level 1 Trauma Center.
This position will be assigned to float to the Emergency Department at our Freeport, IL hospital location.
This position is for Evening / Night Shift hours (12-hour shifts) and will require a weekend and holiday rotation.
Candidate must have an Active IL RN Licensure, BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and either TNCC or TNS at the time of submission.
Candidate must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program; education verification is required.
